"Georgianna's Journey" -- - A Genealogy Poem and Song Created by Artificial Intelligence

I've used FREE Artificial Intelligence tools to create biographies, poems and songs about genealogy and family history in the recent past. Today, I want to share a poem and a song about my maternal great-grandmother, Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (1868-1952).

1)  I requested Microsoft CoPilot, Perplexity, Meta, ChatGPT and Claude (all FREE AI tools) to create a  poem about one of my grandparents.  Here is the Prompt I used for the poem and the song lyrics about my maternal great-grandmother, Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (1868-1952):

Please create a poem about the life of Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (1868-1952). She was born 4 Aug 1868 in Norfolk County, Ontario, the 5th child of daughter of James and Mary Jane (Sovereen) Kemp. Her mother died in 1874, and her father married again in 1876. She moved to Chicago, Illinois with her sister in about 1890, and married Charles Auble (1849-1916) on 19 June 1898 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They had one daughter, Emily Auble on 19 August 1899 in Chicago. The family moved to San Diego, California in about 1911 where her brother resided. She registered to vote as a Republican in 1914. In 1916, Charles Auble died after falling down stairs in the house at 767 14th Street. In later years, she served to register voters. Her daughter, Emily, married Lyle Carringer in June 1918, and they had a daughter, Betty Carringer in July 1919. Georgia lived with her daughter's family for the rest of her life in San Diego, first at 2054 Harrison Street in 1920, at 2130 Fern Street from 1920 to 1951, and then at 825 Harbor View Place until her death on 8 November 1952 in San Diego of heart failure at age 84 after a broken leg fall. She carried on a correspondence with her three sisters and two brothers, and occasionally visited her two brothers in Los Angeles. Georgianna loved her family, and doted on granddaughter Betty. She enjoyed Betty's childhood and life, and then enjoyed Betty's sons as a great-grandmother.

2)  I chose the poem created by Meta AI today.  Here are the stanzas:

In Ontario's Norfolk County, where maple leaves abound,
Georgianna Kemp was born, on August 4, 1868, to a family profound.
Fifth child of James and Mary Jane, with love and laughter she'd grow,
Until her mother's passing in 1874, and her world would forever know.

Her father remarried in 1876, bringing change to her door,
But Georgianna's spirit remained strong, forever in store.
With her sister, she ventured south, to Chicago's bustling streets,
In 1890, a new life unfolded, with hope and eager beats.

She met Charles Auble, love blossomed, and they wed in Milwaukee's June,
1898, a promise of forever, beneath the Wisconsin moon.
A daughter, Emily, arrived in August 1899, a precious delight,
Completing their family circle, shining with love and light.

To San Diego, they journeyed, in 1911, seeking sunshine's glow,
Joining her brother, a new home, where love and memories would grow.
Georgianna's civic spirit, shone bright, registering to vote,
A Republican's proud stance, in 1914, a voice to promote.

Tragedy struck in 1916, Charles fell, and left this earthly plane,
Leaving Georgianna, heartbroken, yet love and strength remained.
Years passed, and she found purpose, helping others to claim,
Their right to vote, a legacy, forever to proclaim.

Emily married Lyle Carringer, in June 1918's warm breeze,
And Betty arrived in July 1919, a new generation's ease.
Georgianna's heart swelled, with love for her grandchild dear,
Spoiling Betty, with every smile, and wiping away each tear.

Through life's joys and challenges, Georgianna stood tall,
Corresponding with siblings, visits to Los Angeles, after all.
Her love for family, pure and kind, a guiding light,
A great-grandmother's delight, in Betty's sons, a precious sight.

Eighty-four years of life, well-lived, and full of love,
Georgianna's journey ended, on November 8, 1952, above.
A broken leg, a final fall, but her legacy remains,
A heart full of love, a life well-lived, through joys and pains.

Rest now, dear Georgianna, your story's been told,
A life of love, resilience, and a heart of gold.

3)  Here are the AI created song and lyrics for "Georgianna's Journey" (with song lyrics created on Perplexity) as custom lyrics on Suno.com, using a folk, upbeat, storytelling, medium tempo style:

"GEORGIANNA'S JOURNEY"

(Verse 1)
Born in Ontario's summer breeze
Georgianna Kemp, a life to seize
Fifth of the bunch, in sixty-eight
Little did she know what fate would create

(Verse 2)
Lost her mother, father remarried
To the Windy City, her dreams she carried
Met Charles Auble, love took flight
In Milwaukee, they held on tight

(Verse 3)
Emily, their daughter, brought such joy
To California, a new life to employ
Republican spirit, civic pride
Voting rights, she'd help provide

(Chorus)
Georgianna, strong and true
From Canada to Chicago, life anew
San Diego's sun, a family's light
Your story shines, forever bright

(Bridge)
Through loss and change, she persevered
With daughter's family, always near
From street to street, her love did grow
A grandmother's warmth, a gentle glow

(Verse 4)
Letters to siblings, memories dear
Visits to brothers, year after year
Betty's childhood, a treasure to behold
Great-grandsons' laughter, worth more than gold

(Chorus)
Georgianna, strong and true
From Canada to Chicago, life anew
San Diego's sun, a family's light
Your story shines, forever bright

(Outro)
Eighty-four years, a life well-spent
Georgianna's legacy, heaven-sent
In our hearts, she'll always stay
Her love lives on, come what may

The AI tools do this so much better than I could, and each tool provides a different poem and song from the same prompt. I love fishing in all of the AI streams!!

4)  My blog posts with the AI-created poems and songs to date are on the Artificial Intelligence Posts page.

5)  These stories, told in verse and song, are part of my genealogy and family research.  My hope is that they will be passed down to my grandchildren and their descendants to highlight the importance of sharing stories, memories, admiration, and love of our ancestors.  I will add them to my Google Drive and to my YouTube channel and my FOREVER account.
