Treasure Chest Thursday: 1662 Birth Record of Samuel Hely in Cambridge, Massachusetts Bay Colony

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - an opportunity to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history research and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1662 birth record for Samuel Hely in the Cambridge, Massachusetts vital records book:

The Samuel Hely birth record:
The extracted information for this record:

[HELY] Samuel, s. of Will[ia]m and Pheby, Sept. 14, 1662

The source citation for the Samuel Hely record is:

Thomas W. Baldwin (compiler), Vital Records of Cambridge, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston, Mass. : New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1915), Births, page 344, Samuel Hely birth entry, 14 September 1662, son of William and Pheby.

Samuel Healey (or Hely, etc.) was born 14 September 1662 in Cambridge, Massachusetts Bay Colony to William and Phebe (Green) Healey.  Samuel died after 1732 in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire Colony.  He married (1) Hannah Smith (1666-1693) on 26 May 1685 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. They had three children.

Samuel and Hannah (Smith) Healey are my 8th great-grandparents, through their son William Healey (1688-1772) who married Mary Sanborn (1690-b1790) in 1715 in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire Colony.
