It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a time to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The burial record for Thomas Page is the 2nd entry on the "1637" section:

The transcription of the burial entry is:

" ?/?  Thomas Page of The Lodge was buryed -- June 12'th [1637]"

This is an image of an Original Source record in the Hawstead Parish Register for the burial of Thomas Page on 12 June 1637 in Hawstead, Suffolk, England. It is Primary Information and Direct Evidence of  the name of Thomas Page and the date nad place of burial.

Thomas Page (c1586-1637) was the son of unknown parents. Thomas Page married Susanna --?-- (c1586-1631) in about 1605, probably in Suffolk, England.  They had at least eight children between 1607 and 1622.

Thomas and Susanna (--?--) Page are my 10th great-grandparents, through their daughter Susan Page (1614-1691) who married son Thomas Gleson (1609-1686) in 1634 in Cockfield, Suffolk, and eventually migrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony.
