Ledia White was the daughter of Joseph White (1662-1757) and Lydia Copeland (1661-1727) who settled in Mendon around the time of their marriage in about 1681. Lydia White married Michael Metcalf (1680-1761) in Mendon, and they had six children. Michael and Lydia (White) Metcalf are my 7th great-grandparents through their son, Michael Metcalf (1706-1771).
