1791 Death Record of 6th Great-Grandmother Hepsibah (Clark) Hamant - Post 385 of Treasure Chest Thursday

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the  1791 Death record of Hepsibah Hamant in Medfield, Massachusetts:

The Hepsibah Hamant death record:

The transcription of the record is:

[HAMANT] Hepsibah, wid. Timothy, Aug. --, 1791.

The source citation for this record is:

Vital Records of Medfield, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston, Mass. : New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1903), Deaths, page 214, Hepsibah Hamant entry, 1791.

Hepzibah Clark (1699-1791) married Timothy Hamant (1699-1774) on 19 October 1727 by Samuel Sewall.  They had nine children together between 1728 and 1741 in Medfield, Massachusetts.

Timothy and Hepzibah (Clark) Hamant  are my 6th great-grandparents.  I am descended from their fifth child, Patience Hamant (1735-1780), who married Moses Smith (1732-1806) in 1762 in Medfield.
