Randy and Stan With Their Dad - Post 535 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

Recently, I discovered an envelope of small photographs saved when my mother died in 2002 - it was hiding in plain sight in the Genea-Cave!

My brother Stanley was born in September 1946 and my life changed.  The photo below is of me (the blond boy on the right in front) with my father (squatting in front) and my brother Stanley (in front on the left) in July 1949:

The family in back of us is the Erskine family, who must have been friends of one or both of my parents.  Perhaps we played with the little boy.

My guess is that my mother  took this photograph which may be at Spanish Village in Balboa Park where my mother went on outings occasionally.  I wish she had told me where this photograph was taken and who the Erskines were, but it's too late for that.
