Recently, I discovered an envelope of small photographs saved when my mother died in 2002 - it was hiding in plain sight in the Genea-Cave!
Included in the photo cache was this oldie-but-goodie - my baby announcement!
75 years ago yesterday my father wrote this after my birth - he probably wrote many of them - and sent them off to the family and friends. Thankfully, they saved this one.
So it says my name is Randall Jeffrey, born October 23, 1943, in perfect condition, weight 7 pounds 14 ounces, and parents Betty and Fred Seaver.
I am no longer in "perfect" condition, and weight a lot more than 7 pounds 14 ounces.
