Today's Treasure Chest document is the 1896 City Directory for Boulder, Colorado for D.J. Carringer:
The entry for D.J. Carringer (left-hand side of the page, 9th entry):

The transcription of the entry is:

"Carringer, D J, fruit grower, res 2nd av and 3rd st, N Boulder."

The source citation for this entry is:

"U.S. City Directories, 1822-1995," indexed database and digital image, Ancestry.com (http://www.ancestry.com : 15 October 2018), Colorado > Boulder > 1896 > Boulder, Colorado City Directory, 1896, page 141 (image 64 of 330), D J Carringer entry.

The David Jackson Carringer family moved to Boulder, Colorado from Washington County, Iowa in about 1873, and remained there until about 1898 when they moved to San Diego, California to be near their two sons.  David Jackson (D.J.) Carringer was born in Pennsylvania in 1828, and died in 1902 in San Diego, California.  He married Rebecca Spangler (1832-1901) in 1851 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.

David Jackson and Rebecca (Spangler) Carringer are my 2nd great-grandparents through their son Henry Austin Carringer (1853-1946), my great-grandfather who married Abbie Ardell (Della) Smith (1864-1944) in 1887 in Wano, Kansas.
