Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1670 Birth of Joanna Cleveland in Woburn, Mass.

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1670 birth entry for Joanna Cleveland  in the Woburn, Massachusetts town vital record book:
The birth entry is near the middle of the page in the "Cleveland" section:

The birth record transcription for Joanna is:

"[Cleveland] Joanna, d. of Moses, April 5, 1670."

As you can see in the image above, a number of the children of Moses Cleveland are listed, including an earlier Joanna who was born in 1661 and died in 1667/

The source citation for this record is:

Edward F. Johnson, Woburn Records of Births, Marriages and Deaths [5 Volumes], (Woburn, Mass.: The News Print, 1893), Volume 1, page 51, Joanna Cleveland birth entry, 5 April 1670.

This is an entry in a transcribed and organized vital record book for Woburn, Massachusetts, so it is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth Joanna Cleveland and her father's name

Joanna Cleaveland (1670-1758) was the daughter of Moses and Ann (Winn) Cleaveland of Woburn, Mass.
She married Joseph Keyes (1667-1757) on 28 May 1690 in Chelsmford, Massachusetts.  He was the son of Solomon and Frances (Grant) Keyes of Chelmsford, Mass.

Joseph Keyes and Joanna Cleaveland are my 7th great-grandparents, through their son Joseph Keyes (1698-1744) who married Elizabeth Fletcher (1698-1775) on 28 February 1719/20 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.
