Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1762 Death Entry For Thomas Bathrick in Arlington, Mass.

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1762 Death entry for Thomas Bathrick  in the Arlington, Massachusetts vital records book:

The death entry is the 6th entry from the Bathrick listings:

The transcription of this record is:

"[BATHRICK] Thomas, Aug. 20, 1762, a. 87.  P.R."

The source citation for this record is:

Vital Records of Arlington, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston, Mass. : NEHGS, 1904), page 124, Thomas Bathrick death record, 20 August 1762.

This is an entry in a published Arlington, Massachusetts vital record book.  It is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the death of Thomas Bathrick on 20 August 1762 at age 80 in Arlington, Massachusetts.  It may be that the death record of his wife Elizabeth (Lynn?) (Beeger) Bathrick is the next one on the list on 8 April 1749 at age 80.

Thomas Bathrick [also Baverick] (1675-1762) was the son of Thomas and Ruth (Buck) Bathrick of Cambridge.  Elizabeth Beeger was probably the Elizabeth Lynn (or Lyon?) who married Francis Begar (1678-1701) in 1697 in Cambridge, and then Thomas Baverick in 1701.  Thomas and Elizabeth (Lynn?) (Beeger) Bathrick are my 7th great-grandparents through their son John Bathrick (1702-1769) who married Mary --?--) before 1722.
