Randy at Tony Gwynn's Display at Hall of Fame in 2004 -- Post 689 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

This photograph was taken in May 2004 in Cooperstown, New York at the Baseball Hall of Fame.  That's yours truly at the Tony Gwynn display at that time.  He was not inducted into the Hall of Fame yet, but he was in 2007.  He was my favorite San Diego Padres player and still is, although Fernando Tatis is getting close!

We flew east to celebrate my cousin's 50th wedding anniversary in Easton, Pennsylvania, and then did some sightseeing and genealogy research in New Jersey, New York, Ontario and Pennsylvania.  This is the only time I've been to these states to do research, and it was fascinating and fruitful and fun.

I went to SDSU with Tony Gwynn. He was also on our basketball team. Super talented and genuine guy.
