Linda and Randy at the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park in 2007 -- Post 744 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! These are some of my favorite photographs:

As San Diego County residents, we are blessed to have the San Diego Zoo (in Balboa Park) and the San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park (on highway 78, east of Escondido).  We had Zoo memberships for many decades, until recently.

In April 2007, Linda and I visited the Wild Animal Park without any of our grandkids, and we paid extra for the Giraffe feeding tour on the plains of "Africa" in the park.  On this tour, the passenger truck gives us access to the heads of the giraffes.  We were able to pet them and feed them.

This is all part of our family history!
