Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1711 Death Record for Rebeckah Chase (1658-1711) in Newbury, Massachusetts Bay

It's time to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings for Treasure Chest Thursday.

The treasure today is the 1711 death record of  Rebeckah Chase in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay:

The death record is the 4th record of the 1711 section:

The transcription of this death record is:

"Rebeckah Chase ye wife of Thomas Chase Sen'r died December ye 27 [1711]"

The source citation for this record is:

"Massachusetts, U.S., Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988," indexed database and digital images, Ancestry.com (https://www.ancestry.com), "Newbury Births, Marriages, Deaths," page 115 (image 387 of 2384), Rebeckah Chase death entry, 27 December 1711.

This record is a Derivative Source, with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the death of Rebeckah  Chase.  The original record is probably in a Newbury town record book that is not extant.

Rebeckah (Follansbee) Chase (1658-1711) was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (--?--) Follansbee of Newbury.  She married 22 November 1677 in Newbury to Thomas Chase (1654-1734), the son of Aquila and Ann (Wheeler) Chase.  He Rebecca Follansbee (1658-1711), the daughter of Thomas and Mary (--?--) Follansbee.

Thomas and Rebeckah (Follansbee) Chase are my 7th great-grandparents.  I am descended through their daughter  Mary Chase (1695-1734) who married  John Horton (1696-1796), in 1719 in Swansea, Massachusetts.
