This probate packet names the four minor children of John Wright and Mary Tassey (Patterson) Seaver.  Mary Tassey (Patterson) Seaver was approved as executrix of the estate, which was insolvent.  The estate file has many requests to transfer the testator's property to the executrix. The estate included significant property - company stock of the Wellman-Seaver-Morgan Company located in Cleveland, Ohio, letter patents, other stocks, and bank accounts. There is also correspondence with the companies and the banks.  The executrix submitted several accounts during the time of the estate action.

John Wright Seaver (1855-1911) was born on 8 January 1855 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Daniel McCleary and Charlotte Ann (Bennett) Seaver.  John died on 14 January 1911 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.  He married, on 17 March 1891 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, to Mary Tassey Patterson (1866-1949).  They had four children:

*  John Tassey Seaver (1892-1940), married 1938 Mary Josephine Offutt (1903-1980).
*  Charlotte DeBeaumont Seaver (1895-1978), married 1920 Raymond Turner Kelsey (1892-1949).
*  Hugh Davis Seaver (1896-1959), married 1930 Elizabeth Lee Andersen (1906-1977).
*  William Patterson Seaver (1901-1912).

I am a 7th cousin 3 times removed to John Wright Seaver (1855-1911), with the common Seaver ancestor being my 9th great-grandfather Robert Seaver (1608-1683).

"A person employed to write what another dictates or to copy what has been written by another."
