Randy and Annie Moore at Ellis Island -- Post 365 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I'm posting old (and sometimes new) family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they won't be wordless posts like others do - I simply am incapable of having a wordless post.

Here is one of the most precious (to me) images from my Seaver/Carringer family collection:

This was my first visit to Ellis Island, and in the years previous Megan Smolenyak Smolenyak had solved the Annie Moore puzzle.  The photo above is the Annie Moore statue in the corner of one of the rooms at Ellis Island.  I asked someone to take my photograph with Annie Moore.

The statue is in a corner of one of the rooms at Ellis Island:

These photographs were taken 24 October 2008 when Linda and I visited New York City before boarding the cruise ship for The Master Genealogist (TMG) cruise from New York to the Caribbean, ending in Puerto Rico.
