This is an entry in the Melksham parish register.  It is an Original Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the baptism of John Marshman on 30 March 1747 in Melksham, son of John [and Jane (Crook)] Marshman.
   
John Marshman (1747-????) was the  son of John Marshman and Jane Crook of Melksham, Wiltshire.  He married Anne Angel (1749-1795) on 2 February 1767 in Lacock, Wiltshire.  They are my 4th great-grandparents; they had 6 children, including my 3rd great-grandmother Ann Marshman (1784-1856).
