Randy at Chargers Training Camp in 1963 -- Post 779 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is now one of my favorite photographs:

In the summer of 1963, I had my first real "paying" job - at the San Diego Chargers football training camp at Rough Acres Ranch near Boulevard in San Diego County.  I was a "camp boy" and cleaned rooms in the morning, and watched practices in the afternoon.  I told the story in Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- What Was Your First Real Job?

This is a photograph of me, at age 19, in front of one of the rooms at the training camp.  I still have that Chargers t-shirt!

I found this photograph along with others that I did not have in my collection in a box hiding in plain sight in my genealogy cave - probably brought from my mother's house in 2002.

I colorized this photograph using the MyHeritage photo tools.

This photograph is all part of our family history.

Still remember George, Frank Buncum coming to dinner and seeing Lance one day at the Lafayette. Fondest of memories.
