Ruth E. Barker (1887-1976) was born 25 July 1887 in New York, the daughter of John Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Weller) Barker.  She died 25 February 1976 in Madison, Wisconsin.  Ruth married Frank Albert Seaver (1878-1959) on 21 August 1928 in Onondaga County, New York.  He was the son of Charles Howe and Jennie Milliman (Filkins) Seaver.  They had one child:

*  Carolyn B. Seaver (1924-2009), married 1946 Carl Blotz Rowe (1918-2012).

I am a 5th cousin 3 times removed to Frank Albert Seaver.  Our common Seaver ancestor is my 7th great-grandfather Joseph Seaver (1672-1754).

There are over 10,000 Seaver "stories" in my family tree - and this is one of them.   Life happens, accidentally and intentionally, and sometimes a person has an obituary that provides a fairly complete life summary.  I am glad that I can honor Ruth E. (Barker) Seaver today.

You never know when a descendant or relative will find this blog post and learn something about their ancestors or relatives, or will provide more information about them to me.
