Dipping Into Denmark Church Records: 1880 Birth of Jens/Hans Lauritzen Hede

My grandsons have Danish ancestry through their father.  His grandparents came from Denmark in 1906 and settled in Chicago.

FamilySearch has a nice list of 28 Denmark record collections, and many of them are indexed and have record images.  Here is the list (two screens):

I want to look for the birth record for Hans Jauritzen Hede, who family records say was born in 1880 to Hans Lauritzen Hede and Kristine Sorensen.

The "Denmark Church Records, 1484-1941" look like an obvious candidate collection to explore.

I entered the name and birth year in the search field and received matches:

There are two matches with the same parents, and the correct parents - Hans Lauritzen Hede and Kristine Sorensen:

*  A confirmation record, with a birth date, for Hans Lauritzen Hede for 7 April 1895

*  A birth record on 4 June 1880 for Jens Lauritzen Hede, in Toftlund, Haderslev, Danmark.

Here is the birth record summary image:

And the actual record image is:

The birth record is the 5th from the bottom - with the name "Hede Jens Lauritzen".  The parents are Hans Lauritzen Hede and Kristine Sorensen.  Column 2 has the birth date - 4 June 1880.  I don't know if the first column (19 June 1880) or last column (25 June 1880) has the baptism date.  I can't translate the headings well.

The source citation for this birth and baptism record is:

"Danmark Kirkebøger, 1484-1941," database with images, FamilySearch , (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGW6-RHHP : 4 June 2020), Jens Lauritzen Hede, birth, 4 June 1880; Rigsarkivet, København (The Danish National Archives), Copenhagen.

The confirmation record in 1895 is:

Jens Lauritzen Hede is the 5th entry from the bottom.  This record provides the birth date as 4 June 1880 and the baptism date as 19 June 1880.

Although this record is indexed as Hans Lauritzen Hede, the name appears to be Jens Lauritzen Hede.  The father's name appears to be Jens Lauritzen Hede also.

Is Hans is a diminutive of Jens?  Or vice versa?

The source citation for the confirmation record is (courtesy of FamilySearch):

"Danmark Kirkebøger, 1484-1941," database with images, FamilySearch , (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QGWX-S1L9 : 10 November 2017), Hans Lauritzen Hede, Confirmation, 07 Apr 1895; 2, Rigsarkivet, København (The Danish National Archives), Copenhagen.

The World War I Draft Registration card for Hans Lorenson Hede, and the Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index for Hans Hede, give his birth date as 4 June 1880.

Randy, If you go to the Danish National Archives and click the British flag, the page will come up in English. Now that you have the town, check for other types of town records that might not be on Ancestry. I can't enlarge your image enough to try to figure out what the heading says.
