The German Research Association (GRA) in San Diego has an interesting program this Saturday, 7 June, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. It is titled "Following the Path of Your German Ancestors."
This will be a round table discussion sharing how the attendees are doing with their German genealogy research.
The program will be held at the Joyce Beers Community Center, on Vermont Street just north of University Avenue in the Uptown Shopping Center in the Hillcrest community in San Diego. Attendees should park in the parking garage at the end of the street.
I wish that I could attend this meeting because I have done nothing to pursue the German heritage of my Carringer, Auble, Rau, Feather, Spangler, Koenig and other surnames. I'm sure that I could get some help and asvice from this meeting. Unfortunately, my Saturday morning is already taken.
If you are interested in this program, I encourage you to attend!
