(Not So) Wordless Wednesday - Post 281: Poodle Skirts, Leather Jacket, Coonskin Cap, Hair

I'm posting family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they aren't Wordless Wednesday posts like others do - I am incapable of having a wordless post.

Here's another picture from my 70th birthday party two weeks ago:

I couldn't resist showing this picture.  The grandchildren were really into the 1950's theme and came dressed up - the girls in their poodle skirts, Mary Janes and pink glasses, and the boys in their James Dean (leather jacket, shades and Davy Crockett coonskin cap) white shirts and jeans.  Grandpa came in a Disneyland T-shirt (I was there in 1956!) and hair (yes, I had hair in the 1950s).  Of course, the hair was a butch-wax flat top then...but I don't have enough left to do that and couldn't find the butch wax (I guess I could have ruined Linda's wig but .... no!).

From the left, that's Lauren (age 8), Audrey (age 5), Randy (age 70, a big kid at heart), Logan (age 7) and Lucas (age 10) in the picture.  My daughter, Tami, took this picture and hundreds more, and has kindly let me post it to social media.
