"SEAVER -- In Modesto, California, August 28, 1925, Alice, widow of the late Charles Seaver, mother of Frank and Charles H. Seaver and Mrs. Charles McMahon, a native of Massachusetts, aged 78 years, 6 months, 19 days.
"Funeral services Monday, August 31, 1925, at 1 o'clock p.m. at the parlors of the James Taylor Co., northeast corner of Fifteenth and Jefferson streets, Oakland, California, to which friends are invited."

Alice (Honey) Seaver (1847-1925) was born in Lowell, Massachusetts to Calvin and Laura (Gaffield) Honey, and married Charles Henry Seaver (1838-1918) on 13 August 1864 in Tuolumne County, California. They had four children: Laura Elizabeth (Seaver) Sullivan (1865-1898); Franklin Chester Seaver (1866-1942); Marian B. "Minnie" (Seaver) McMahon (1874-1935); and Charles Henry Seaver (1875-1947).
