Family History Fanatics eConference - 19 January 2018 Updated!

My friends, the Family History Fanatics (Devon Noel and Andy Lee), are presenting an eConference on Friday, 19 January 2018 from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST (starts at 9:45 a.m. EST, 7:45 a.m. MST, 6:45 a.m. PST).  The theme for this eConference is "Finding Family Stories & Passing Them On."

There are five hours of classes in presentation format by four presenters, as shown above, in a webinar format (times are CST):

8:45 a.m. - "Welcome" by Andy Lee
9:00 a.m. - "Digital Preservation" by Eric Wells
10:15 a.m. - "Estate Planning for Genealogists" by Victoria Woo
11:30 a.m. - "Conducting Story-Driven Research" by Tammy Hepps
12:45 p.m. - "Discovering Jane's Family" by Randy Seaver
2:00 p.m. - "Genealogy Unscripted" by the panel

During each presentation, you’ll be able to ask questions using the webinar program’s chat features.

The early-bird fee for the entire eConference is $19.99 until 18 January, and will be $24.99 after 18 January.  Register at https://FamilyHistoryFanatics.com/econferences You can watch the live webinar presentations or see the replay on your own schedule for up to 30 days after the eConference.

I am honored to be presenting "Discovering Jane's Family" in this conference.  I discovered many interesting family stories about my wife's great-grandmother's ancestry.  Jane (Whittle) McKnew (1847-1921) was born in Australia to English-born parents, and migrated as a young girl to California, ending up in San Francisco.

This is an excellent opportunity for genealogists and family historians to attend a virtual conference on their computer for a reasonable cost, especially for those who don't or can't attend genealogy society meetings or all-day seminars but still want and need educational opportunities.

UPDATED 1/15:  Early bird pricing extended to Thursday, 18 January.
