Treasure Chest Thursday - 1718 Birth Record of Joanah Heely in Hampton, N.H.

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1718 birth record of Joanah Heely in Hampton in the New Hampshire Birth Records:

The extracted information from this record is:

*  Child's Name:  Joanah Heely
*  Date of birth:  20 July 1718
*  Sex:  Female
*  Father's Name:  William Heely
*  Mother's Maiden Name:  Mary
*  Clerk:  Horace M. Lane
*  Clerk of:  Hampton
*  Date:  May 2, 1906

The source citation for this record is:

"New Hampshire Birth Records, Early to 1900," online database, FamilySearch International (http://FamilySearch.org : accessed 7 March 2019), FHL microfilm, 98 reels; citing New Hampshire Registrar of Vital Statistics, Concord, N.H., "Index to births, early to 1900," Joanah Heely entry.

This is a Derivative Source record of the New Hampshire Birth Records to the year 1900.  This record was created in 1906 by the Hampton, New Hampshire town clerk.  The Original Source is a Hampton, New Hampshire town record that I have not found to date.

"Joanah Heely" (1718-1809) was the daughter of William Healey (1688-1772) and Mary Samborne (1690-1790) of Hampton and Chester, New Hampshire.  She married John Underhill (1721-1793).

John and Joanna (Healey) Underhill are my 6th great-grandparents, through their son John Underhill (1745-1816) who married Hannah Colby (1745-????).
