Four Generations in 1975-- Post 579 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post!  I found some more family photos hiding in my voluminous My Pictures file folder - I don't think I've posted this one yet:

This photograph was taken in July 1975 in our back yard on Via Trieste in Chula Vista.  The people in this photograph are, from left:

*  My grandmother, Emily Kemp (Auble) Carringer (1899-1977), so age 75.
*  My grandfather, Lyle Lawrence Carringer (1891-1976), so age 83.
*  My daughter, Lori Seaver, age 14 months.
*  Me, Randall Jeffrey Seaver, age 31.
*  My mother, Betty Virginia (Carringer) Seaver (1919-2002), so age 55.

This is one of my few 4 generation photographs with me in the picture.  Lyle was slim and trim and a bit frail by this time, and I had forgotten that Emily had gained weight by this time.  They both lived to see three of their great-granddaughters - Lori, my Tami in 1976, and Stan's Molly in 1976.

I could cry. How precious this photo is as you lost your grandparents a year and two years after it was taken!
