I am posting photographs from my family collections for (Not So) Wordless Wednesday (you know me, I can't go wordless!).
Here is a small photograph from the Seaver/Carringer family collection handed down by my mother in the 1988 to 2002 time period:
This is a picture of yours truly taken in about 1945 or 1946 (when I was about two or three years old). My guess is that my grandfather, Lyle L. Carringer, took the picture with a small camera in his home. My guess is that my grandmother was hovering close by so that she could grab me if I fell off the table! She was very protective. Why did they take this picture? Perhaps it was to send it to my father who was in the U.S. Navy until February 1946.
The first thing I noticed in this picture was my blond hair all the way down to my forehead! I wish!

They must have run photos like this in the magazines. I have one of myself, very same age, same pose. Your smile is cuter, though. I think I was holding a ball, to keep me from wiggling around. ;-)
