Treasure Chest Thursday #304: 1756 Marriage Record of Amos Plimpton and Mary Guild in Walpole, Mass.

The treasure today is the  1756 marriage record of Amos Plimpton and Mary Guild in the vital record book of Walpole, Massachusetts:

The source citation for this record is:

Vital Records of Walpole, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston, Mass. :New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1902), Marriages, page 161, Amos Plimpton and Mary Guild entry.

Amos Plimpton and Mary Guild were my 5th great-grandparents.  They had five children together, but only two lived to adulthood.  Their daughter, Mercy Plimpton (1772-1850), who married Aaron Smith (1765-1841) in 1795, is my 4th great-grandmother.
