Amos Plimpton and Mary Guild were my 5th great-grandparents. They had five children together, but only two lived to adulthood. Their daughter, Mercy Plimpton (1772-1850), who married Aaron Smith (1765-1841) in 1795, is my 4th great-grandmother.
