New England Historic Genealogical Register Table of Contents - Volume 172, No. 4 (Fall 2018)

I am a dues paying member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS) and have been for about 24 years.  As such, I receive the quarterly scholarly journal, the New England Historical and Genealogical Register, online after receiving an email notice from the Society.

Here is the Table of Contents for the latest issue, Fall 2018 (Volume 172, No. 4):

I usually skim the articles, and closely read the articles that may mention (or even better, a sketch of) one of my ancestors or ancestral families.  Almost always, the new NEHGR journal includes some information about one of my many New England and/or English ancestral families.

In this latest issue, I carefully read the article by Clifford Stott, "In Search of Mr. Overton ..." because the title includes my Bulkeley, Farwell and Overton surnames, and also the article by Randy West, "Updates from English Records for Some Great Migration Immigrants to 1635" because I have many Great Migration ancestral families.

The NEHGR is a necessary journal for me to keep current on the latest scholarship for New England ancestry.
