There are over 220,000 new additions this week.
We've updated four of our key military record sets this week - so it's easier than ever to discover the stories of your heroic ancestors. The biggest update comes to our Prisoners of War 1715-1945 collection, to which we've added 200,000 records. We've also bolstered our British Army Soldiers' Medical Records and added over 6,000 records for the Women's Royal Navy spanning 1914 to 1918.
British Armed Forces, First World War Soldiers' Medical Records
We added 20,460 images and transcriptions to our British Army Medical Records this week. These new additions document soldiers during the First World War.
Prisoners of War, 1715-1945
We made a huge update to our Prisoner of War collection - there are 20,000 new Second World War additions for you to search.
British Women's Royal Naval Service Ratings' Service Registers, 1918-1919
We've made improvements to this existing set of Women's Navy Service Registers, so you can now discover age, next of kin details and images for many records.
