As of 16 January 2016, there were 2,056 record collections on FamilySearch (an increase of 1 from last week):
The new or updated collections are:
* Kansas County Marriages, 1855-1911; Browse Images only, no record index, added or updated 15 Jan 2016
* Honduras, Civil Registration, 1841-1968; 178,391 indexed records with digital images, added or updated 15 Jan 2016
* Spain, Province of Málaga, Municipal Records, 1760-1956; 180,341 indexed records with digital images, added or updated 15 Jan 2016
* Spain, Province of Cádiz, Municipal Records, 1784-1956; 215,947 indexed records with digital images, added or updated 15 Jan 2016
* Ontario Births, 1869-1911; 2,219,999 indexed records with digital images, added or updated 15 Jan 2016
* England and Wales Census, 1861; 19,591,106 indexed records with digital images, added or updated 14 Jan 2016
* Liberia, Marriage Records, 1941-1974; Browse Images only, no record index, added or updated 13 Jan 2016
* Poland, Radom Roman Catholic Church Books, 1587-1966; 43,143 indexed records with digital images, added or updated 11 Jan 2016
Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell which collections are brand new and which ones are updated. The asterisk they use is for "Recently added or updated." I am particularly interested in new collections, for the obvious reasons. FamilySearch does provide a listing of which collections are new or updated several days after my post.
In order to select a specific collection, go to https://familysearch.org/search/collection/list and use the "Filter by collection name" feature in the upper left-hand corner.
Each one of the collections listed above has a Research Wiki page (use the "Learn more" link). It would be very useful if the Wiki page for each collection listed the dates for when the collection was added as a new collection and the dates for major updates also.
