Cliff Shaw posted Goin' To The Chapel: Mocavo Marriage Databases today, so I wondered what there might be for my Seaver family in Leominster, Massachusetts.
The Mocavo Marriage Databases are listed at http://www.mocavo.com/records/Marriage-Records:
I entered "seaver" in the Last Name field and "leominster" in the Keywords field, and saw that there were 87 results:
If you notice, those were on the "Results" tab (located on the right side of the graphic that frames the search box). There is also a "Summary" tab, and I clicked on that:
The list of databases with my search terms included in one or more results were provided, ordered by number of matches.
Mocavo keeps adding databases every week day (about 1,000 per day) and occasionally organizes them into groups like "Marriages."
What I found out today, and I must have missed the announcement (if there was one), is that they have many of the "Tan Books" with Massachusetts Vital Records before 1850. That's great!
