Registration Open for SDGS Annual Meeting (12 January 2019) Featuring Curt Witcher

The January 12, 2019 Annual Meeting and Winter Seminar of the San Diego Genealogical Society will be held at the Marina Village in the Captain’s Room (1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109: For directions and map, click here). 

Check-in time is 8 a.m., the Seminar is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. and Lunch is from 12 noon to 12.30 p.m.

The Guest speaker is Curt Witcher, the Genealogy Center Manager at Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 



 Curt's four presentations will be:

*  Session 1: Doing Effective Genealogical Research in Libraries

*  Session 2: Mining the Mother Lode: Using Periodical Literature for Genealogical Research

*  Session 3: Using Government Documents for Genealogical Research

*  Session 4: More Than Surname Surfing: Best practices for Using the Internet for the Genealogist

*  The Early Bird price (November 1 to December 11, 2018) is:  Members:  $45, Non-members $55.

*  From December 12. 2018 to January 10, 2019, the regular price is:  Members:  $55, Non Members $65.

The price includes morning coffee/tea with pastries, and lunch.

LUNCH CHOICE (Comes with bottled water and cookie):  Turkey sandwich with chips  OR   Cobb Salad
