Randy Riding his Horse Trike in About 1945 -- Post 546 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

Recently, I discovered an envelope of small photographs saved when my mother died in 2002 - it was hiding in plain sight in the Genea-Cave!

Included in the photo cache was this oldie-but-goodie - another photo of Randy and his horse-trike in about 1945:

I had a small tricycle when I was young (I have several photos of it) and loved riding it all over the block.  I was probably age 2 or 3 in this photo.  I think I'm wearing the same outfit as the photo I showed the last weeks.  I look happy in this photo.

This was probably taken in the summer or fall of 1945 or 1946 on the Carringer property at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego.  This is probably in the driveway area next to the house or in the back yard next to the house.  We were living with my grandparents at this time since my father was in the U.S. Navy.

My mother or my grandfather probably took this photograph.
