Tombstone Tuesday -- Patience (Hamant) Smith (1735-1780) in Plains Cemetery, Walpole, Massachusetts

I have collected a number of gravestone photographs from Find A Grave over many years, and thought I would share them one at a time for Tombstone Tuesday.

Here is the gravestone of my 5th great-grandmother, Patience (Hamant) Smith (1735-1780) in Plains Cemetery in Walpole, Massachusetts:


The inscription says:

ed Dec'r 30, 1780 In ye
46th(?) year of her age

Moses and Patience (Hamant) Smith are my 5th great-grandparents.  
Patience Hamant (1735-1780) is the daughter of Timothy and Hephzibah (Clark) Hamant of Medfield, Massachusetts, and married Moses Smith (1732-1806) in 1762 in Medfield, Massachusetts.  They had four children, including Aaron Smith (1765-1841), who married Mercy Plimpton (1772-1850) in 1795.
