Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- Where Were Your Ancestors 80 Years Ago?

 Calling all Genea-Musings Fans:

 It's Saturday Night again -

Time for some more Genealogy Fun!!

Here is your assignment if you choose to play along (cue the Mission Impossible music, please!):

1) Determine where your ancestral families were on 1 April 1940 - 80 years ago when the U.S. census was taken.

2)  List them, their family members, their birth years, and their residence location (as close as possible).  Do you have a photograph of their residence from about that time, and does the residence still exist?

3)  Tell us all about it in your own blog post, in a comment to this post, or in a Facebook Status post.

Here's mine:

My father, Frederick W. Seaver (born 1911) resided at 918 Main Street in Leominster, Massachusetts with his father, Frederick W. Seaver (born 1876) and his youngest sister, Geraldine Seaver (born 1917).  He was also enumerated at the Newton [Mass.] YMCA in Newton, working as a sales manager for a finance company.  My grandmother, Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver (born 1882), was not enumerated in this census for some reason, but I am reasonably sure that she was living with my grandfather after the census was taken.  I don't have a photo of this house, but it probably still exists.

*  My grandparents, Lyle Carringer  (born 1891) and Emily (Auble) Carringer (born 1899) resided at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego, along with my mother Betty Virginia Carringer (born 1919).  Emily's mother, my great-grandmother, Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (born 1868)  lived with them in San Diego at the same address.  I have some photos of this house and it still exists but has been improved..

*  My great-grandparents Henry Austin Carringer (born 1853) and Della (Smith) Carringer (born 1862) resided at 2115 30th Street in San Diego, California.   I have many pictures of this residence, which still stands at 2115 30th Street, but has been improved.

So I have 9 direct ancestors living at this time, 80 years ago.  Two parents, four grandparents, and three great-grandparents.
