It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.
The treasure today is the Marriage entry for Edmund Rice and Ruth Parker in Marlborough in 1692 in the Torrey's Marriages book:The marriage entry is the third one from the bottom of the page:The transcription of this record is:

"New England Marriages to 1700," online database with digital images, AmericanAncestors.org (New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2008), page 1265, Edmund Rice and Ruth Parker marriage entry, 15 November 1692.
This is an entry in a digitized published book for marriages in Massachusetts, which was collected by Clarence Almon Torrey from town record books and other records. It is a Derivative Source with Secondary Information and Direct Evidence of the marriage of Edmund Rice and Ruth Parker.
Edmund Rice (1663-1726) was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth (King) Rice of Marlborough, Massachusetts. He married Ruth Parker (1672-1726), the daughter John and Sarah (--?--) Parker of Roxbury, on 15 November 1692 in Marlborough.
Edmund and Ruth (Parker Rice are my 7th great-grandparents, through their daughter Dinah Rice (1693-1725) who married Nathan Brigham (1693-1784) in 1717.
