I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:
While in Maui in August 2007, we took a tour boat snorkel trip to Monokini, which is a submerged crate off the west coast of Maui and south of Lahaina and Kaanapali. It is a haven for tropical fish and an excellent snorkeling adventure. We were in the warm water for almost an hour. They had a jellyfish warning for all of us to stay away from them if we saw them in the water.
The photo above shows Linda and I on the tour boat on the way back from Monikini, which is in the background.
This was a fun trip - we had a room with a view of the beach in Kaanipali. During our stay, we drove up to Haleakala crater, the Yao Valley and Nature Center, several dinners with cousin Joanie and her friend, a Hawaiian luau at the resort, and spent a lot of time relaxing on the beach, with the islands Molokai and Lanai off to the northwest..
This is all part of our family history!
