This obituary identifies his name, residence, age, birthplace, date of death, occupation, associations,  names of his wife, children, and surviving brother.

James Beverly Seaver (1906-1970)  was born 3 November 1906 in Highland, Kansas, the son of Joseph Manley and Frances Ann (Horrabin) Seaver.  He died 24 February 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri.  He married Jennie Edith White (1904-1983) on 7 July 1930 in Chicago, Illinois.  They had three children:

*  Nancy Jo Seaver (1932-2019), married (1) 1953 Haddon Elwood Francis (1930-2002); (2) 1958 J. Richard Dick (1932-2021).
*  Judith Seaver (1939-????), married 1962 James Neil Flournoy (1938-????).
*  Stephen James Seaver (1942-1961).

Orville Dudley Seaver is my 5th cousin three times removed, with common Seaver ancestors of 7th great-grandfather Joseph Seaver (1672-1754).

There are over 10,000 Seaver "stories" in my family tree - and this was one of them.   Life happens, accidentally and intentionally, and sometimes a person has a fairly detailed obituary. I am glad that I can honor James Beverly Seaver today.

You never know when a descendant or relative will find this blog post and learn something about their ancestors or relatives, or will provide more information about them to me.
