Saturday Night Genealogy Fun - Same birthday as yours?

Hey there, Genealogy Jedis - it's Saturday Night - time for more Genealogy Fun!

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to:

1)  Is there a person in your genealogy database that has the same birth date that you do?  If so, tell us about him or her - what do you know, and how is s/he related to you?

2)  For bonus points, how did you determine this?  What feature or process did you use in your software to work this problem out?  I think the Calendar feature probably does it, but perhaps you have a trick to make this work outside of the calendar function.

That's it - go for it - use your Genealogy Jedi lightsword to cut through your genealogy database to solve this task!  May the genea-force be with you!

I will post mine on Saturday evening after I return from Salt Lake City.

Sad to say, there are none for me. But my oldest grandchild was born on my Dad's birthday. Were Dad still living when Andre was born, he would been so proud.

I queried my data base and 27 people share my birthday. Years range from 1840 to 1988. Guess us Aquarians on the cusp of Pisces must be popular! Either that or there is "something in the air" in July that made the parents a bit frisky and lovey-dovey.

And once again (story of my life) I hit "publish" too early. The month when there is "something in the air" isn't July - it's May! I truly, truly need to learn how to and and subtract.

Must be the May flowers. Intoxication from their lovely aromas.

None for me, this time around. It was fun to take a look though -- thanks, Randy!

None for me either, but I had fun exploring the features in Reunion: http://bit.ly/9gzIu1

I found one; a younger sibling of my maternal grandfather, who died the day after his/her birth in 1909. My aunt passed down the family information, with name as E.H. Nelson, gender unknown.
Another one, not mine; my son was born on his maternal grandfather's birthday. Photographs for my son and his grandfather, when each was about 2 years old, placed side by side have the appearance of showing twins.

I used the calender in Reunion and there was none for me either. Was a rather quick process!

Oh, I just posted this a few days ago, so I guess it doesn't count. My birthday is tomorrow!

I found one person related to me who shares my birthday, a second cousin twice removed who was born in 1898 in Detroit. I have no other information about him.

I also found one person not related to me who shares the birth date and 4 couples who married on that date.

My birthdate of November 30 has been shared since birth. I was born on my cousin Gordon's 11th birthday. My brother Steven then was born on my 7th birthday. I always say I'm the oldest of the "twins", by seven years, and the "middle child" of the three!

After running the query I found we are the only three sharing this date in my database.

Late as always but my entry is here:

I've got three that were born on the same month and day and I used a different method in RootsMagic to find them.

I was born on my great-grandma's 78th birthday . . . and have never met a single soul (or run across one in my database) born on the same day in the same year . . . my list was generated using a program called Geneweb . . . thanks for continuing to challenge us, Randy . . .
