Treasure Chest Thursday - Post 219: 1850 Census Record for Cornelius Feather

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - time to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1850 United States Census record for my Cornelius Feather (1777-1853), my 4th great-grandfather and his wife in Salem township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania:

The entry for Cornelius Feather is:

The information for this family includes:

*  Cornelius Feather -- age 73, male, a farmer, $1000 in real property, born NY
*  Mary Feather -- age 58, female, born PA

The source citation for this record is:

1850 United States Federal Census, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, population schedule, Salem township, Page 349 (stamped), Dwelling #1319, Family #1419, Cornelius Feather household, online database, ( : accessed 29 October 2011); citing National Archives Microfilm Publication M432, Roll 796.

Cornelius Feather (1777-1853) is my 4th great-grandfather.  Mary --?-- (about 1792-about 1855) in the census record is his second wife - I don't know the name of his first wife, who died before 1830.  I am descended through their daughter, Sarah Feather (1804-1848), who married Henry Carringer (1800-1879).
