Family Photographs - Charles Auble's Gravesite

I'm posting family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they won't be wordless posts like others do - I simply am incapable of having a wordless post.

I went out to Mount Hope cemetery in San Diego yesterday, and snapped these pictures of the gravesite of my great-grandfather, Charles Auble (1849-1916).

Charlie is buried in Mason Division S, Lot 21, Space 15 at Mount Hope. He is in the open grassy space between the two in-ground grave markers in the center of the picture (view looking south):



Here is a closer view of Charlie's burial space - looks like they just cut the lawn, doesn't it? Poorly, I'd say!

Charlie's neighbors are Julia Burreson on the west and Everett Cadwell on the east.
