All States in 1940 U.S. Census Now on FamilySearch

FamilySearch has just announced that all of the states in the 1940 U.S. census have been completely indexed and imaged, and are searchable on the FamilySearch site (https://familysearch.org/1940census/).  The index for the last five states were added today.

I don't see a link to the several Territories (other than Alaska and Hawaii) yet.  Are there overseas military bases in this census, and if so, are they imaged and indexed also?

I immediately went to Massachusetts and looked for my grandmother, Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver using all of my search tips and tricks.  alas, she apparently was not enumerated.

Three CHEERS for the FamilySearch Indexing team - this is quite a fantastic feat of indexing 134 million names/data in less than five months.

Randy - I don't know how you checked for Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver, but in doing searches for my family names in the 1940 census, I found that by putting them in the search blanks provided on the main page, I got nothing. However, if I clicked on the name of the state and then entered the name in that search area, I found them. It happened over and over. I'm not quite sure why, but that's what happened. You might try searching that way.
