Here is a photograph from my own photo album of the "early days:"
This picture was taken in late March 1970 (I think, since it was with the wedding pictures in our album) at the home of my maternal grandparents, Lyle and Emily (Auble) Carringer. I think that it was after our return from our honeymoon in Acapulco. Linda and I look happy to be drinking, snacking and chatting with my grandparents.
I loved to see them, and visit their home at 825 Harbor View Place on Point Loma in San Diego. They were always so loving and giving, and I had a really special bond with them. Linda had a bridal shower there, and we had our rehearsal dinner there also.
