I am posting family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they aren't "Wordless" - I am incapable of having a wordless post!
Here is a photograph from the Carringer family photograph collection provided by my mother from 1988 to 2002:
The five people in this photograph are (from the left):
* Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (1868-1952) - my mother's maternal grandmaother
* Henry Austin Carringer (1853-1946) - my mother's paternal grandfather
* Betty Virginia (Carringer) Seaver (1919-2002) - my mother
* Della (Smith) Carringer (1862-1944) - my mother's paternal grandmother
* Abigail (Vaux) Smith (1844-1931) - my mother's paternal great-grandmother
Since my mother is a small child, probably about one year old, this picture was probably taken in 1920 by her father, Lyle L. Carringer at their home on Fern Street in San Diego, California.
This may have been on Betty's first birthday in July 1920.
Betty was the only child of Lyle and Emily (Auble) Carringer, and the only grandchild of Georgianna (widow of Charles Auble), Austin and Della.
Georgianna (Kemp) Auble resided with Lyle and Emily, and Abbie (Vaux) Smith resided with Austin and Della (Smith) Carringer in their home at 2105 30th Steeet.
