I'm posting old family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they won't be wordless posts like others do - I simply am incapable of having a wordless post.
Here is one of the most precious (to me) images from my Seaver/Carringer family collection:
This photograph was taken in July 2004 in Evergreen Cemetery in Leominster, Massachusetts. That is yours truly standing beside the gravestone of:
* my second great-grandfather, Isaac Seaver (1823-1901),
* his first wife, Juliett (Glazier) Seaver (1826-1847),
* his second wife and my second great-grandmother, Lucretia (Smith) Seaver (1828-1884),
* Benjamin Seaver (1854-1894), son of Isaac and Lucretia
* Nellie M. Seaver (1861-1932). daughter of Isaac and Lucretia.
The Isaac Seaver stone is near the Main Street entrance to the cemetery and just to the south of the chapel. The houses in the background of the photograph are across Main Street.
