The album had many photos of the Seaver and Richmond families that I had never seen. Here is one of them:
This photograph is of my Aunt Marion (Seaver) (Braithwaite) Hemphill (1901-2000) (my father's eldest sibling) and my mother Betty Virginia (Carringer) Seaver (1919-2002). They are at Cabrillo National Monument on the tip of Point Loma overlooking San Diego Bay in the summer of 1982. The submarine base is below them on the left, North Island Naval air Station is the late area on the right, and downtown San Diego is far off in the distance on the right.
Marion was visiting from South Carolina in 1982 to see her brother Fred and his family, and to see her Richmond cousins that lived in southern California.
