Treasure Chest Tuesday -- 1796 Death Record of Sarah (Allen) Knowlton in Concord, Mass.

It's Treasure Chest Tuesday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1796 death record of Sarah (Allen) Knowlton in the Concord, Massachusetts Vital Record book:

The Sarah Knowlton entry is about 40% down the page listings:

The extracted information from this record is:

"Widow [Sarah] Knowlton, aged 77, [wid. of Jeremiah,]  May 10, 1796"

The source citation for this record is:

George Tolman (compiler), Concord, Massachusetts Births, Marriages and Deaths, 1635-1850 (Concord, Mass. : Committee on Printing, 1894), Page 422, widow Sarah Knowlton entry.

Sarah (Allen) Knowlton (1717-1796) was a daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Grande) Allen of Sudbury, Massachusetts. She married Jeremiah Knowlton (1713-1752) in 1735 in Sudbury, and they had five children.  Jeremiah and Sarah (Allen) Knowlton are my 6th great-grandparents, through their son Jeremiah Knowlton (1745-1785), who married Abigail Pierce (1750-1776) in 1771.
