Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1664 Birth Record of Lidea Ward (1664-1740) in Sudbury, Massachusetts

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1664 birth entry for Lidea Ward in the Sudbury, Massachusetts vital records book:

The death entry is the 1st entry in the Ward listings at the top of the page:

The transcription of this record is:

"WARD, Lidea, d. Richard and Mary, Mar. 16, 1664. M.R."

The source citation for this record is:

Vital Records of Sudbury, Massachusetts to the year 1850 (Boston, Mass. : New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1903), Births, page 148, Lidea Ward entry, 16 March 1664.

This is an entry in a published Sudbury, Massachusetts vital record book.  It is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of Lidea Ward on 16 March 1664 in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay.  The "M.R.' refers to a Middlesex County Registry book from which the record was transcribed.
Lydia Ward (1664-1740) was the daughter of Richard and Mary (Moore) Ward of Sudbury, Massachusetts.  She married John Maynard (1661-1731) in about 1688 in Marlborough.  They are my 7th great-grandparents through their son James Maynard (1694-????) who married Mary Morse (1697-????) in 1719 in Marlborough.
