Rabbit Holes With Randy - Finding Nathan Brigham Land Deeds on FamilySearch

I wrote Rabbit Holes With Randy - Finding David Bathrick Land Deeds on FamilySearch lst week and showed how I find, capture and use land deeds to support my genealogy research and contribute to my 52 Ancestors genealogical sketches.

My work in land deeds is never done, and I am looking ahead to sketches of 5th great-grandfather Nathan Brigham (1693-1784) and his father, 6th great-grandfather Nathan Brigham (1671-1746), I went looking for and found land deeds for them in both Worcester County and Middlesex County, Massachusetts.  I am not done with this task yet, but it's what I've been doing this past week.

Here are my tables of Worcester County land record deeds for the Grantee index:

And for the Grantor index:

As you can see, I am not quite done capturing some of the Grantor deeds.  I couldn't find several deeds so I marked them NF ("not found") - I will have to go back to the index to see if I have the correct volume and page number.  One deed was in the index but was skipped in the clerk volumes (labeled "Not").  I have downloaded 30 deeds so far, with more to do.  I abstracted several of the deeds, and have transcribed three of them to date, but there are dozens more to at least abstract.  Nathan Jr. also had a son Nathan, and some of the deeds after 1760 may be for him.

Then there are the Middlesex County deeds, since Nathan Brigham Sr. lived and died in Marlborough in Middlesex County, but his son Nathan Jr. settled in Southborough.
