Samuel Ross Seaver (1884-1966) was born 11 April 1884 in Waterloo, Wisconsin, the son of Samuel ross and Ellen Sophia (Twining) Seaver.  He died 9 October 1966 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  He married (1) Ethel Daisy Bush (1883-1952) on 6 May 1906 in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  They had five children:

*  Samuel Ross Seaver (1907-1911).
*  Helen Elizabeth Seaver (1910-1977), married 1931 Paul Emerson Burks (1907-1982).
*  Arthur Twining "A.T." Seaver (1912-1998), married (1) 1934 Dorothy Maydelle Shawver (1913-1982); (2) after 1982 Dolores Reed (1918-1998).

He married (2) Lillian J. Amgwert (1898-1974) in 1953.  They had no children.

Samuel Ross Seaver (1884-1966) is a 5th cousin 3 times removed of mine.  Our common Seaver ancestor is Joseph Seaver (1672-1754) of Roxbury and Sudbury, Massachusetts.

There are over 10,000 Seaver "stories" in my family tree - and this was one of them.   Life happens, accidentally and intentionally, and sometimes a person has life accomplishments mentioned in their obituary.  I am glad that I can honor Samuel Ross Seaver today.

You never know when a descendant or relative will find this blog post and learn something about their ancestors or relatives, or will provide more information about them to me.
